Collaborative Imaging Welcomes Two New Partners to Expanding Group
Cambria Somerset Radiology & Nuclear Medicine Group and Grundy Radiologists the latest to join expanding list of partners
PLANO, TEXAS (June 29, 2020) – Collaborative Imaging, a radiologist-owned alliance, announced today the addition of two new members: Cambria Somerset Radiology & Nuclear Medicine and Grundy Radiologists. In total, Collaborative Imaging is comprised of more than 350 partners across six states with the goal of helping independent radiology practices maintain their autonomy.
Based in Johnstown, Penn., Cambria Somerset Radiology Group & Nuclear Medicine has more than 30 years of experience in the industry and currently serves as the exclusive radiology provider for Conemaugh Health System. As a small independent practice in an underserved area, Cambria partnered with Collaborative Imaging to help with staffing and recruiting resources in order to remain a sustainable practice and avoid staff burnout.
“The support structures within Collaborative Imaging provide independent radiology practices with access to resources that make us feel like we’re part of a larger network while still maintaining our independence,” said Dr. Gary Kramer, president of Cambria Somerset Radiology & Nuclear Medicine Group. “We’re looking forward to seeing what we can accomplish with the support of Collaborative Imaging.”
Grundy Radiologists is a small, independent radiology practice based in Morris, Ill. The radiologists at Grundy saw a need to keep control of their practice to sustain long-term growth. Of all the models Grundy learned more about, Collaborative Imaging best aligned with their values.
“Collaborative Imaging is designed for radiology groups of all sizes,” said Dr. Biren Patel, vice president of Grundy Radiology. “All of Collaborative Imaging’s partners are built on an equal platform and derive from parallel benefits. Groups who are considering joining larger consolidated groups should instead look at partnering with Collaborative Imaging.”
Radiology practices that partner with Collaborative Imaging have access to cutting-edge workflow solutions that eliminate process inefficiencies and revenue cycle oversight. The alliance also gives business expertise that allows member groups to reduce operating costs, increase productivity, expand their practice footprint and provide increased quality in patient care. The framework of Collaborative Imaging fosters collaboration among independent radiology practices with the common goal of helping member groups succeed in all areas of radiology practice while protecting the private practice model.
“We are thrilled to welcome Cambria and Grundy into our growing group of partners,” said Dhruv Chopra, founder and CEO of Collaborative Imaging. “Collaborative Imaging and its partners benefit equally from a diverse list of radiology groups, and we are excited to welcome them to our premier list of partners.”
